Valencia28 is the story of an apartment I renovated in Madrid, Spain. The apartment is in a late 1950’s building in the Lavapies neighborhood. It had only one previous owner and other than a terrible remodeling job to the kitchen and one bath, it had not been touched in 60 years. Everything had to be redone. I did most of the work myself. It was a nightmare but I loved every minute of it. For a room-by-room tour click on the photos above, or for an overview of the project click here. The apartment is now rented out, the trials and tribulations of which I plan to blog about soon, along with other tips, tricks, and tales about renovating an apartment in Madrid.
